Miss Thing's
The amazing people, culture and nature of the island of Maui and town of Lahaina, alongside the rest of Hawaii have long been the inspiration for our little restaurant in Toronto, Canada. We have countless memories of kindness and beauty that the people of this paradise have extended and shared with us during the time we have spent there. So continually gracious are our Hawaiian hosts, that itโs easy to overlook the challenges that undoubtedly come with calling a global tourist attraction like Maui home. The impact and sacrifices that come with having to share their home and community with outsiders and tourists on a daily basis at the scale at which Hawaiians do, is something we are certain we underestimate. Right now, we all need to forget about Maui the tourist attraction, and share and commit our resources to help the people of Maui rebuild their lives, homes and communities. Please join us in supporting these efforts by donating to the Maui Strong Fund via the link in our bio.
